Hello my lovely friends! I hope you are doing well. I know I am glad I no longer have to hold my breath over election results. Aside from that, I have been feeling pretty off recently but I am trying to make active choices to make myself feel a little less down. For example, right now I am watching Spirited Away and writing this letter! Other things I have enjoyed are going on outings with no particular purpose, making cups of tea, and watching Big Mouth! I am really in the final stretch when it comes to school, less than two of each of my classes yet before finals. Now onto the letter! Tweets of the Week

Persimmon Paradise
Dad recently has been a "picking fool" when it comes to harvesting the persimmons in the neighborhood. This picture does not even show them all:
So far I have made waffles and oatmeal with them, I will be making muffins this week!
Fall Favs
Last week I asked you guys what your favorite Fall foods are and here are some answers!
Caroline likes warm chai lattes and homemade caramel corn
Annika likes winter squash, brussel sprouts, and persimmons
Jack likes pumpkin bread
Lo likes butternut squash soup
Cleo likes caramel apples, roasted pumpkin seeds, apple crumble, and apple cider
Alex likes apple pumpkin butter!
City Morning
I mentioned at the beginning of the letter that something I have enjoyed doing is going on outings with no real purpose. One thing that is nice is on Tuesdays I do not have class until 11:00 am so I have some time to do something fun. This week I went to San Francisco to go for a run. I love running by the Bay a pretending I am one of the young professionals who lives in the Marina. After I went to Cow Hollow for an acai bowl and then went to Pacific Heights to explore a little more. It is really peaceful to do things like this alone and I recommend doing it :)
The News From Hanken Drive (What's Up with Grandpa)
First of all, Grandpa voted (for Joe of course) in person which is one of his first outings besides our trips to Tahoe and his walks to the priory. In this picture, he is sitting with persimmons from his tree.
He also came to the pool with us for the last pool day of the year on Thursday.
On Saturday we had ice cream to celebrate the election results! I had a sorbet smoothie and Grandpa had a caramel sundae with butter pecan and french vanilla ice cream.
Quarantunes
Babooshka by Kate Bush- I have really discovered my love for Kate Bush recently and I think this may be my favorite song by her.
Georgia by Pheobe Bridgers- In honor of Georgia going blue
Fake by Conan Gray and Lauv- a true bop! "You're just like everyone else except for you're better at taking photos"
Question of the Week: What is your favorite movie that came out before you were born?
That's all for this week! I love you all so much, stay in touch!
